LOS ANGELES – Extra Mild Sauce continues their “A Taste of Chicago” series with a rare performance by 4-time Grammy Nominated Producer and DJ, Steve “Silk” Hurley. This special series of Extra Mild Sauce events highlights the authentic Chicago soul, house and rare disco music that has influenced many of today's top artists and DJs worldwide. The event will host a balance of music industry executives, DJs, artists, producers and progressive music lovers. .
Steve “Silk” Hurley is a world-class DJ/Producer who celebrates 20 years in entertainment. He is considered in many circles as one of the pioneers of the Chicago house music sound. His unique ability to also musically embellish a song and take it to new dimensions has earned him the well-deserved title as one of the nation’s top remixers. This is evident in some of his most prized works, including Michael Jackson’s “Jam” and “Remember The Time”, Prince’s “Get Off”, Yolanda Adams’ “Open My Heart”, Boyz II Men’s “I’ll Make Love To You”, as well as tracks for Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, Janet Jackson, Diana Ross and Bob Marley, just to name a few. His DJ mixes can currently be heard every Tuesday and Thursday mornings on the nationally syndicated Tom Joyner Morning Show, which is broadcast over 128 stations.
